I just want to let y’all know in like 30 minutes its going to be Barbra Streisand’s birthday, sooo like umm fair warning.

Dont do no fuckshit on the 24th. Just dont.

honestly, i was one of those people when the show started in ‘09, and most of the viewers now started watching in season 4, so maybe they will catch on too after some real thinking. i sure hope so.

I watched Drag Race during my self hating years which ended in ‘10, so I was definitely one of those who were like, “they can say whatever, its just comedy” totally sipping on that Lisa Lampanelli kool-aid.

Drag Race is really Drag lite and honestly people wont see how problematic Drag Queens can get until they see a night show. That’s why I dont fuck with Bianca Del Rio that much (okay like not at all).

PHARRELL WILLIAMS SPEAKS ON BEING A THE NEW BLACK

THIS WAS EVERYTHING!!!!!!!

My gawd

Mmmmm

watch this

listen to auntie!

Lets be real, if Im not supposed to take Drag Race seriously then tkae away all the segments of these little boys in drag crying because they mommas and daddies dont love them, but now when they on the show they mommas and daddies finally love them. And now after that message the little boys in drag want to be role models for the little gays out there.

Take that shit out and replace it with more petty drama and kiis.

Give us the show’s true nature, which is another version of TopModel/Project Runway reality competition just with little boys in drag crying….because they mommas n daddies dont love them.

Something I never understood about Rupaul Drag Race fans is that they are quick to tell someone to “chill out” and find some humor whenever someone criticizes the problematic aspects of the show, yet minutes later they will say that the show is important because it has created a place for the lgbt community and has opened so many doors.

So im confused, do I take it seriously or nah? Because if Im not supposed to take it seriously, then why is it important to my community?

what was delas response

DeLa posted a video basically saying that she was in support of the change because she doesn’t want anyone to be offended and that Drag Race should be for everyone. Which you know is exactly what that damn show is trying to do. I mean lets really talk about how mainstream the show is.

Who is he? Whose team does he bat for? Where is he?

I’m just seeing a lot of men saying that they don’t agree on something offensive even though they have a couple of their trans mates saying that it is offensive. Granted Sonique isn’t offended by it, but she is a part of the trans community so her opinion holds weight instead of the others.

the responses the this change were so messy. have you seen the other ones?

The only ones Ive seen where Alaska’s and DeLa’s. Alaska I suspected was trash, because she fucking noted racist Sharon Needles, but after her little video, yeah she confirmed trash now.

Like I am truly not surprised at the response seeing how little boys in drag think they can do and say anything because they are drag queens.
